Heritages and Museums 

Fine Arts Center is an arts center located just north of downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado. Located on the same city block are the American Numismatic Association and part of the campus of Colorado College.

Ghost Town Museum Once mines were emptied of their treasures, many towns were abandoned to become “ghost towns.” By the time gold was discovered in Cripple Creek in 1891, the spirit of the frontier was almost gone.

Peterson Air and Space Museum is located inside Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Admission to the museum is free, but access is controlled due to security concerns.

The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum is located at 215 S. Tejon Street in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The granite building with a domed clock tower was the El Paso County Courthouse building from 1903 to 1973.

The Western Museum of Mining & Industry is a museum at 225 North Gate Boulevard in Colorado Springs, Colorado, dedicated to the mining history and industrial technology of the western United States. 

The National Museum of World War II Aviation is home base for a large selection of aircraft, most of them fully restored to flying condition. Do to space requirements some of the collection is rotated, in maintenance or on tour at various times of the year.

Penrose Heritage Museum, the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is extremely excited to have a permanent home for our historical archives where they can once again be shared with the world free of charge.
